Welcome! These Terms of Use and Community Guidelines (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Celestial Church of Christ — Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish (the “Parish,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the worldwide online community at cccbilehouoshoffamiracleland.org (the “Platform”). By registering, accessing or posting, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, if higher) to register.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Notify us promptly at support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org of any unauthorised use.

2. Community Guidelines

This is a Christ-centred community open to the whole world. Please treat one another with the love, respect and dignity of Christ. When posting in forums, prayer requests, groups, comments or messages, you agree not to:

• Post hateful, harassing, threatening, bullying, defamatory or discriminatory content.
• Post sexually explicit, obscene, graphically violent or otherwise inappropriate material.
• Share spam, advertising, solicitations, pyramid/MLM schemes, scams, or repetitive or disruptive content.
• Post unlawful content, or content that infringes any intellectual-property, privacy or other right.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Share other people’s private or sensitive information without their consent.
• Upload viruses or malicious code, attempt to breach security, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
• Use the Platform to promote teachings, fraud or activity contrary to the faith, mission or lawful operation of the Church.

When sharing a prayer request, please be considerate — do not post sensitive details about other people without their permission.

3. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of the content you post (“User Content”). By posting, you grant the Parish a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and share that content within and for the purposes of operating and promoting the Community. You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. You are solely responsible for your User Content, and we are not responsible for content posted by members.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

4. Our intellectual property

The Platform, its design, text, graphics, logos and the Celestial Church of Christ name and emblem are owned by or licensed to the Parish and protected by law. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

5. Memberships, payments & giving

• Free and paid tiers. Joining the Community is free. We also offer optional paid membership tiers (e.g., Partner and Covenant Partner) with additional access or benefits.
• Payment processing. Paid memberships and donations are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms, and you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method.
• Recurring billing & auto-renewal. Monthly or annual memberships renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You may cancel renewal at any time from your account (My Membership) or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then.
• Price changes. We may change prices or benefits with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
• Refunds & donations. Except where required by law, membership fees and donations are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review in good faith.
• Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to your payments.

6. Courses & educational content

Courses, devotionals and other materials are provided for spiritual edification and personal growth. Any certificates recognise participation and are not professional, academic or accredited qualifications.

7. Moderation & enforcement

To keep the Community safe and edifying, we may — at our discretion and without prior notice — review, edit, remove or restrict any content, and warn, suspend or terminate any account, especially where these Terms or Guidelines are breached. To report a concern, email support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org.

8. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org including: identification of the work, the location of the material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond appropriately, including removing infringing content and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.

9. Not professional or emergency advice

Spiritual encouragement, prayer and content shared here are offered in faith and love but are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. The Community is not an emergency service — if you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content posted by members is accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Parish, its leaders, volunteers and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Parish and its leaders, volunteers and providers from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

13. Third-party services

The Platform integrates third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Google, Meta/Facebook, SendGrid) and may link to other sites, including the Flomicso Network and our parish website. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites, which are governed by their own terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and (where applicable) by U.S. federal law. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org and attempt to resolve the matter informally in good faith for at least 30 days. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

16. International users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Platform from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local laws. See our Privacy Policy for how international data is handled.

17. Changes; severability; entire agreement

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows the latest revision, and continued use after changes means you accept them. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Parish regarding the Platform.

This Privacy Policy explains how the CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Community (the “Community,” “we,” “us,” “our”), operated by Celestial Church of Christ — Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish, collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit or use cccbilehouoshoffamiracleland.org (the “Platform”). We serve members around the world, and this Policy is written to respect privacy laws including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), and other applicable laws.

By using the Platform you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are (data controller)

2. Information we collect

• Account & profile data: name, username, nickname, email address, password (stored encrypted), and any profile details, photo, bio, location or interests you choose to add.
• Content you share: forum posts, replies, prayer requests, comments, group activity, direct messages, media (photos, documents, video) and anything else you submit.
• Membership & payment data: if you join a paid tier or give, your membership level and billing history. Card/payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe) — we do not see or store your full card number.
• Social-login data: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive basic profile information (such as your name and email) from that provider, per their permissions.
• Technical & usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and similar server-log and analytics data.
• Cookies & similar technologies: as described in Section 5.
• Communications: messages you send us (e.g., support or contact requests).

3. How we use your information & legal bases

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and provide the Community (legal basis: performance of a contract / our legitimate interests).
• Process memberships, donations and payments through Stripe (contract).
• Send service emails — registration, activation, password resets, notifications and important notices — delivered via SendGrid (contract / legitimate interests).
• Operate, secure, moderate and improve the Platform and keep the Community safe (legitimate interests; legal obligation).
• Understand usage through analytics (consent, where required, or legitimate interests).
• Comply with law and protect our rights, members and the public (legal obligation; legitimate interests).

Where we rely on consent (e.g., certain cookies or optional communications), you may withdraw it at any time.

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for login, security and the Platform to function. We also use analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how the Community is used. Depending on your location, we will seek consent for non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break core features.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers (“processors”) who act on our instructions, and where required by law:

• Email delivery: SendGrid (Twilio Inc.).
• Payments: Stripe, Inc. (for memberships and giving).
• Analytics: Google (Google Analytics).
• Authentication: Google and Meta/Facebook (only if you choose social login).
• Hosting & infrastructure: our hosting and content-delivery providers.

We may also disclose information to comply with law, enforce our Terms, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety and property of the Community, our members or the public. If the Parish’s operations are reorganised, information may be transferred as part of that change, subject to this Policy.

7. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the U.S. and other countries. If you access the Platform from the EEA, the UK, or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers. By using the Platform, you understand your information will be handled as described here.

8. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Community, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate record-keeping (for example, donation and payment records).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords, access controls and reputable processors. No online service can be perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal exceptions.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a portable format).
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
• For California residents: know what we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any right, email support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org; we may need to verify your identity. You may also edit your profile or request account deletion at any time. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority.

11. Children

The Platform is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country where higher). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

The Platform may link to other websites (including our parish website and the Flomicso Network). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites; please review their policies.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “last updated” date shows the latest revision, and significant changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
