Psalm 91 describes the security of dwelling in the shelter of the Most High. Psalm 121 points to the Lord as the One who watches over His people. Ephesians 6:10–18 teaches believers to stand strong in the Lord by putting on the whole armor of God.
These passages should lead us toward trust and obedience, not superstition. Our confidence is in God Himself, not in merely repeating certain words.

Protect me from temptation and help me stand firm in the truth of Your Word. Watch over my family and the people You have entrusted to my care. Where I am afraid, replace panic with trust. Where I need to act, give me discernment. Keep my eyes on Jesus and lead me in Your way. Amen.
