Welcome! These Terms of Use and Community Guidelines (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Celestial Church of Christ — Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish (the “Parish,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the worldwide online community at cccbilehouoshoffamiracleland.org (the “Platform”). By registering, accessing or posting, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country, if higher) to register.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
• One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
• Notify us promptly at support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org of any unauthorised use.

2. Community Guidelines

This is a Christ-centred community open to the whole world. Please treat one another with the love, respect and dignity of Christ. When posting in forums, prayer requests, groups, comments or messages, you agree not to:

• Post hateful, harassing, threatening, bullying, defamatory or discriminatory content.
• Post sexually explicit, obscene, graphically violent or otherwise inappropriate material.
• Share spam, advertising, solicitations, pyramid/MLM schemes, scams, or repetitive or disruptive content.
• Post unlawful content, or content that infringes any intellectual-property, privacy or other right.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Share other people’s private or sensitive information without their consent.
• Upload viruses or malicious code, attempt to breach security, scrape, or disrupt the Platform.
• Use the Platform to promote teachings, fraud or activity contrary to the faith, mission or lawful operation of the Church.

When sharing a prayer request, please be considerate — do not post sensitive details about other people without their permission.

3. Your content & licence

You retain ownership of the content you post (“User Content”). By posting, you grant the Parish a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and share that content within and for the purposes of operating and promoting the Community. You represent that you have the rights to post your content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law. You are solely responsible for your User Content, and we are not responsible for content posted by members.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

4. Our intellectual property

The Platform, its design, text, graphics, logos and the Celestial Church of Christ name and emblem are owned by or licensed to the Parish and protected by law. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

5. Memberships, payments & giving

• Free and paid tiers. Joining the Community is free. We also offer optional paid membership tiers (e.g., Partner and Covenant Partner) with additional access or benefits.
• Payment processing. Paid memberships and donations are processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms, and you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method.
• Recurring billing & auto-renewal. Monthly or annual memberships renew automatically at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You may cancel renewal at any time from your account (My Membership) or by contacting us; cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then.
• Price changes. We may change prices or benefits with reasonable notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
• Refunds & donations. Except where required by law, membership fees and donations are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review in good faith.
• Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to your payments.

6. Courses & educational content

Courses, devotionals and other materials are provided for spiritual edification and personal growth. Any certificates recognise participation and are not professional, academic or accredited qualifications.

7. Moderation & enforcement

To keep the Community safe and edifying, we may — at our discretion and without prior notice — review, edit, remove or restrict any content, and warn, suspend or terminate any account, especially where these Terms or Guidelines are breached. To report a concern, email support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org.

8. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org including: identification of the work, the location of the material, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond appropriately, including removing infringing content and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.

9. Not professional or emergency advice

Spiritual encouragement, prayer and content shared here are offered in faith and love but are not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. The Community is not an emergency service — if you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that content posted by members is accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Parish, its leaders, volunteers and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Parish and its leaders, volunteers and providers from any claims, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

13. Third-party services

The Platform integrates third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Google, Meta/Facebook, SendGrid) and may link to other sites, including the Flomicso Network and our parish website. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites, which are governed by their own terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and (where applicable) by U.S. federal law. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@cccbilehouoshoffa.org and attempt to resolve the matter informally in good faith for at least 30 days. Subject to applicable law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of your country of residence.

16. International users

We operate from the United States. If you access the Platform from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with your local laws. See our Privacy Policy for how international data is handled.

17. Changes; severability; entire agreement

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date shows the latest revision, and continued use after changes means you accept them. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Parish regarding the Platform.
