Day 16 — Grace for Divine Protection

The Word — “Under His Shadow — Living in Divine Protection”

We live in an increasingly dangerous world. Violence, accidents, disease, and unexpected tragedy touch lives around us every day. But for the child of God who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, there is a supernatural covering that no natural force can penetrate. Tonight on Day 16, we declare that divine protection is not a privilege for a select few — it is a grace-covenant reality for every believer who dwells in the presence of God.

1. Dwelling in the Secret Place. The protection of Psalm 91 is not automatic for everyone — it is conditional on dwelling in the secret place of the Most High. The secret place is a place of intimate relationship with God. It is the place of prayer, worship, and the Word. It is not a physical location but a spiritual posture — a life lived in the conscious presence of God. The believer who makes God their habitual dwelling place — who lives in His presence, who walks in communion with Him — that believer has access to the full covering of Psalm 91.

2. The Comprehensive Nature of Divine Protection. Psalm 91 describes divine protection that is comprehensive: He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler (from traps and deceptions). He shall cover thee with his feathers (intimate covering). His truth shall be thy shield and buckler (protection from lies). Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day (protection from attack at any time). A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee (protection even when destruction is all around). This is total, comprehensive, all-encompassing protection.

3. Angelic Protection — God’s Special Forces. He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways (Psalm 91:11). Angels are not mythological beings — they are real, powerful, divine agents assigned to protect the people of God. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him (Psalm 34:7). Right now, around every believer who fears God, there are angels encamped. You may not see them — but they are there. They are real. They are powerful. And they are assigned to keep you.

Declare Today

• I declare that I dwell in the secret place of the Most High.
• His shadow covers me and my household.
• No evil shall befall me. No plague shall come near my dwelling.
• His angels have charge over me — keeping me in all my ways.
• I am divinely protected in my going out and my coming in.
• A thousand may fall at my side but it shall not come near me.
• Grace is my shield and buckler. Amen!

Pray

1. Thanksgiving for Past Protection. Father, we thank You for every danger You have kept us from — accidents we narrowly escaped, attacks that failed, and evil that was turned back before it reached us. We may not even know all the ways You have protected us, but we thank You for Your faithful covering. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
2. Praying Psalm 91 Over Families. Lord, we pray Psalm 91 over every family in this congregation tonight. No weapon formed against them shall prosper. No evil shall befall them. No plague shall come near their dwelling. Your angels are encamped around them. They shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
3. Protection Over Children. Father, we specifically pray for divine protection over every child connected to this congregation. Protect them at school, at play, and in transit. Let Your angels go before them and behind them. Shield them from every danger, predator, and evil influence. Let them grow up in safety under Your covering. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
4. Protection in Travel. Lord, we pray for divine protection over every member who travels — by road, air, rail, and sea. Let Your presence go before them. Let accidents be diverted. Let dangers be removed from their paths. Let them arrive at their destinations safely and return home in peace. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
5. Protection from Violence. Father, we pray for protection from every form of violence — random crime, targeted attacks, and gang violence. Let Your shield surround our members wherever they go. Let the blood of Jesus mark every believer in this congregation as untouchable to the enemy’s violent agents. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6. Protection of the Church. Lord, we pray for divine protection over CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish — its physical premises, its leadership, its congregation, and its reputation. Let no weapon formed against this church prosper. Let every plot to harm or hinder this ministry be exposed and destroyed. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
7. Declaration of Divine Protection. We declare over this congregation: We are covered! We are protected! We dwell in the secret place and we abide under the shadow! Angels are encamped around us! No evil shall befall us! No plague shall come near our dwelling! From Grace to Grace — WE ARE PROTECTED AND WE OVERFLOW! Amen!
