Day 18 — Grace for the Church and the Body of Christ

The Word — “The Church that Grace Built — Unstoppable and Unshakeable”

Tonight on Day 18, we turn our focus to something very close to the heart of God — the Church. Not a building. Not a denomination. Not a religious institution. But the living, breathing, Spirit-filled body of Christ that Jesus Himself said He would build. Tonight we pray for the Church — locally at CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish and globally across the body of Christ.

1. Jesus Is the Builder of the Church. I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH — Jesus said it and He means it. The Church belongs to Jesus. He is not a spectator in the building process — He is the architect, the foundation, and the builder. This means the Church is not dependent on any single human leader, any particular strategy, or any specific cultural moment. The Church is built by Jesus through the Holy Spirit and by His grace. When human effort fails, His building continues. When resources run out, His work does not stop.

2. The Gates of Hell Shall Not Prevail. This is one of the most powerful promises in Scripture. The gates of hell — all the power, strategy, and force of the enemy — shall not prevail against the Church. Note the language: gates are defensive. Hell is defending its territory against an advancing Church. The Church is not on the defensive — it is on the offensive. The Church is not retreating — it is advancing. Every prayer meeting is an advance. Every soul saved is a victory. Every new church planted is territory taken from the enemy.

3. The Grace of Unity in the Body. Psalm 133 declares: How good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. And then it says: for there the LORD commanded the blessing. Unity is not just a nice ideal — it is the condition for commanded blessing. When the body of Christ walks in genuine love and unity, it creates the spiritual environment in which God commands His blessing to flow. Division grieves the Holy Spirit and weakens the Church. Unity delights the Holy Spirit and empowers the Church.

Declare Today

• I declare that the Church of God is strong, vibrant, and unstoppable.
• CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish is a house of grace and power.
• The gates of hell shall not prevail against this church.
• We are growing, multiplying, and overflowing.
• God’s presence fills this house and His glory is our covering.
• We are united in love and purpose — and there God commands the blessing.
• The Church that grace built cannot be stopped. Amen!

Pray

1. Thanksgiving for the Church. Father, we thank You for the gift of the local church — for a community of believers to walk with, pray with, and grow with. We thank You for CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish. We thank You for every member, every worker, every minister, and every soul that has been touched through this church. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
2. Revival Fire for the Church. Lord, send revival fire to CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish. Let the Holy Spirit move in ways that surpass anything we have seen before. Let signs, wonders, and miracles become the norm in this house. Let salvations, healings, and deliverances happen regularly. Let us be a church on fire for God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
3. Prayer for the Shepherd. Father, we specifically pray for our shepherd, Avse Sanmi Dawodu. Anoint him afresh for this season. Give him divine wisdom, supernatural strength, and prophetic clarity for leading this congregation. Let Your grace rest upon him in greater measure. Protect him, his family, and his ministry. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
4. Unity in the Congregation. Lord, we pray for supernatural unity in CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish. Where there has been division, bring reconciliation. Where there has been misunderstanding, bring clarity. Let us dwell together in unity so that You may command Your blessing upon us. Let love be the mark of this congregation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
5. The Global Body of Christ. Father, we pray for the global body of Christ tonight. We pray for persecuted churches in nations where Christianity is illegal. We pray for churches in spiritually dry seasons. We pray for church leaders carrying enormous burdens. We pray for a global awakening that brings billions into the Kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
6. The Church’s Impact on Chicago. Lord, let CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish be a transforming force in the city of Chicago and beyond. Let this church impact its community with the love of Christ. Let it be a voice of righteousness in the culture. Let it be a refuge for the broken and a launching pad for the called. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
7. Declaration for the Church. We declare over CCC Bilehou Oshoffa Miracle Land Parish: You shall not be shaken! You shall not be defeated! You shall not be silenced! Jesus is building you and the gates of hell shall not prevail! You are a church of grace, power, and overflow! From Grace to Grace — THE CHURCH OVERFLOWS! Amen!
