Day 7 — Grace for Family Restoration

The Word — “Grace that Rebuilds What Was Broken”
There is no place where the enemy attacks more ferociously than the family. He knows that if he can destroy the family, he can destabilize society, the church, and the next generation. Tonight on Day 7, we declare that the grace of God is a restorative force — and what the enemy has broken, God is fully able to rebuild, renew, and restore.
1. God Is in the Business of Restoration. Joel 2:25 is one of the most powerful promises in Scripture. God promises to restore the years that the locust has eaten. This means everything that was stolen, damaged, or destroyed by the enemy’s attacks on your family is subject to divine restoration. God does not just fix what is broken — He restores what was lost. He does not just repair marriages — He renews them. He does not just return prodigals — He transforms them.
2. The Grace-covered Home. Joshua declared: As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. This was not just a personal decision — it was a household declaration. When the head of a home makes a covenant with God, that covenant covers the entire household. The grace of God flows through covenant. When you choose to serve God, His grace is released over your spouse, your children, your home, and your family legacy.
3. Grace for Prodigals and Broken Relationships. The story of the Prodigal Son is not really about the son — it is about the father’s grace. When the son was still a great way off, the father saw him and ran to meet him (Luke 15:20). That is the grace of God toward every prodigal in your family. Before they turn around, God’s grace is already running toward them. Your prayers for prodigal children and broken family relationships are not falling on deaf ears — God’s grace is pursuing them.
Declare Today
- I declare restoration over my family in the name of Jesus.
- Everything the enemy has stolen is returned sevenfold.
- Broken relationships are mended by grace.
- Prodigal sons and daughters are coming home.
- My home is a sanctuary of peace, love, and God’s presence.
- As for me and my house — we will serve the LORD.
- My family overflows with grace and God’s restoration. Amen!
Pray
- Thanksgiving for Family Grace. Father, we thank You for the grace You have shown to our families. Despite our failures and shortcomings, You have kept our families together. We thank You for every act of restoration You have already performed in our homes. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Restoration of Broken Marriages. Lord, we pray for every broken marriage represented in this congregation. For couples on the brink of divorce — let Your grace intervene. Let love be rekindled. Let forgiveness flow. Let communication be restored. What God has joined together, let no devil put asunder. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
- Prayer for Prodigal Children. Father, we pray for every prodigal child — those who have walked away from You, from their families, and from their destiny. Lord, let Your grace pursue them. Let Your Spirit draw them back. Let this 21-day season mark the turning point for prodigals all over the world. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Healing of Generational Family Wounds. Lord, we pray for healing of deep generational wounds — abuse, abandonment, rejection, and trauma that have been passed down through family lines. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse every generational wound. Let grace break every cycle of family dysfunction. Let a new legacy begin with this generation. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Grace for Single Parents. Father, we specifically pray for single parents who are raising children alone. Give them supernatural strength, wisdom, and grace. Let Your grace compensate for every absence. Let their children grow up whole, healthy, and walking in their God-given destiny. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Protection Over Families. Lord, we pray for divine protection over every family in this congregation. Protect our homes from the spirit of divorce, addiction, abuse, and ungodly influences. Build a hedge of protection around our children. Let Your angels encamp around every household. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
- Declaration of Family Restoration. We declare over every family in this congregation: Restoration is happening right now! Prodigals are coming home! Broken marriages are being healed! Generational curses are being broken! A new family legacy is being written by the grace of God! From Grace to Grace — OUR FAMILIES OVERFLOW! Amen!
